Death Valley

I had no idea that I would be so amazed by this national park! It's like another planet. When you drive through you have to make sure you have a full tank of gas because pumps are few and far between. The same goes with water. Bring one gallon per person, you'll need it.

Death Valley is huge and it was hard to narrow down the sites to see. First stop Dante's View at 5500 feet. Looking out to a surreal valley and down to Badwater, the lowest point in the US at 282 feet below sea level.

Zabriskie's Point, another stop to enjoy a sweeping view and punishing heat.

Finally, Furnace Creek Visitors Center for cool interactive exhibits, water refills, and confirmation that it is really hot in the desert.

We really loved Death Valley!
